Hey guys i have a pci-64 bit scsi card that has a spot to have a ribbon cable go off, so i have the scsi ribbon cable going to a little card that has 3 scsi ports for hard drives the only problems i have is that 1) will the pci-64 do ok in a regular pci slot it fits and everything. and 2) ill post a picture of the power plug that is in the back of the card is there a power converter from the regular 4-pin to this 4-pin? Btw the card is out of an ibm e-server. Picture of the plug... P061213_1751[01].jpg 140k .jpg file

OK easy on the posting. Give people time to respond.

What brand, and model is the card? What server did it come out of? More than likely the plug is proprietary to the server it came from.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/380636246512?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648 I actually found that and it will infact fit the card. Just one more question if i have 3 scsi drives off the card will i have to change that plug to have 3 4 pin molex for each drive or will just the one 4 pin molex work to have enough power for all 3 drives?

What are the drives, 10k or 15k?

Either way, a single cable should power 3 HDDs without issue. As long as the PSU isn't a cheapie.
