side note, they have clear heat shrink which sounds like a cool idea

No, not that I know of. And why? Because, in my opinion, it doesn't really look professional.
But if you think it looks cool, than go ahead!
I also think that this sleeving is not going to cover all of your cables' colors. But the fire sleeving should indeed help tomake it less noticable.

Try to steer clear of 2:1 ratio shrink, go for at least 3:1 or 4:1 if possible, it helps to maintain the grip of where you shrink it. If you can get it pre-cut do so, it will save you ALOT of time, and will look more professional in the end.

I have not tried anything from that particular manufacturer, but the flame and some of the others look interesting.

On clear shrink, I have used some and it leaves alot to be desired, especially of there is any printing on it. Might work ok if you get thin enough wall thickness with high enough ratio. I would only use it if your going to cover a spliced solder joint or something like that.
