See above, this is all continuing off of something that just doesn't happen.
The hive mind is strong with this one. You haven't even read the information M$ put out last week that started the lynch mob and yet you still joined in. Here it is:
And this other part isn't directed at you, but at a lot of others in this thread:
Pfft, please with the "Hive Mind" comments. You simply don't like that people don't share your opinion and your voracious defense of MS' ridiculous policies.
Fact: there are still restrictions on how many people can play a game you purchase. This is a method of controlling, long term, what happens to that software. It is not a feature; MS is not being good guy steve and being kind enough to let us play their game. They are asserting additional control over software they require us to purchase. No thanks.
Fact: Kinect is spying on you. If it wasn't, MS wouldn't be backpedaling about privacy concerns. Rest assured the default mode of kinect will be "always on," so that MS can gather private data about you and your habits, gaming and non-gaming alike. In an effort to be balanced, here's another fact: Other companies already do this, its just not as invasive. A third fact: MS has since announced you can turn connect off, but not that the system will operate without kinect. Why?
Fact: "In the months ahead, we will continue to listen to your feedback as we meet with our partners in the ecosystem to bring additional detail about our policies" is corporate for "we were hoping you'd bend over and take this stuff, but since there is a huge outcry against all these changes (and since our pre-orders are behind the PS4 so now we know this is more than just noise) we'll keep backpedaling. Also, I can't believe EA threw us under the bus."
