Light gaming laptop

Thread Starter
Right now my top choice is the new haswell based razer blade, but I want to see if there's something comparable that I missed. I can get a 15" retina macbook pro for around 1900, but that has only a 650m compared to the 765m in the razer. My criteria are around 2k (lower is fine tongue.gif), under 5 pounds, respectable gpu (650m or higher) and at least a 1440x900 resolution.

A light gaming laptop is almost an oxymoron, but other than the Razer Blade, you could look at the Lenovo Y510p with a Haswell i7 and dual GT 750M in SLI. That would be even faster than the GTX 765M while nearing the GTX 770M in performance. (A CD drive is sacrificed when you are using the second 750M, however it is easily swappable.)

The laptop isn't as thin as the Razer Blade or MBP (MBP is a terrible choice for gaming), however compared to laptops such as the ASUS G series, it is on the thinner side.

I'm only saying this because I own a previous generation Y500, which I'm pretty happy with, despite having doubts about the brand at the beginning.
