After so long I jumped in head first into the water cooling club!

EDITED - Naked Picture

I spent months and months, looking around, changing my mind and putting it off. But I have finally water cooled my NZXT Phantom Enthusiast. I brought a WC kit from Overclockers.uk which came with exactly what I wanted for just under £200. Then I added a few UV lights, an NZXT Hue and my case is nearly done. I am thinking of getting a PSU cover that runs along the bottom of the case and also replacing the front cover of the XSPC Dual Bay reservoir with one of Dwoods Custom made plates!

The whole process took me one evening. about 5 hours, being new to this W/C Malarky I spent so long triple checking EVERYTHING. For anyone who hasn't done this before should know the scariest part is filling the system up! Bodging the 24 pin Power cable with a piece of Tin Foil was scary!

After all these months, my Beauty is nearly finished! A few more expenditures on signs etc and it will be done. The journey has been great and for any one who hasn't done it yet, Do it!! It's so much fun, the research was fun, putting it together was amazing and then watching the water flow and keep my temps at a cool 35 is amazing compared to my crap stock cooler!

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

(Forgot to mention that I have Purchased a slightly better Motherboard mostly for the looks but I sold my blue one to my friend who was building a new PC at the time)

Jay

Looks great man! Nice to have some bling in that expensive case isnt it? What kind of temps are you seeing under load? Thats is what really counts. How about a couple of pics with the side off. She's ready for her closeup Mr. Deville. biggrin.gif

BTW, Welcome to the club!

Edited just for you wink.gif.

I think I was looking at around 40-45 with Crysis 3 on full, but then I'm just cooling CPU atm... Thinking about trading my GTX 660ti for EVGA GTX 770 tongue.gif
