I could see this happening in 5-10 years when Cable subs start to fall just as fast as wow subs because all of the late baby boomers.

I canned cable a long time ago, Netflix is enough. A DVR seems like a crappy methodology once you use Netflix. I will continue to Boycot cable until they let me pay for only the channels I want. The content creators are afraid of what true Internet TV will bring. Let the hack-app-athon begin. Little do their feeble minds realize that, like open source, this will become a blessing in disguise.
