Install NB 140mm PK-PS fan in Antec 300 not sure of what is involved

Thread Starter
Does anyone have any experience in installing a NB 140mm PK-PS fan in an Antec 300 case? Is it a good fit, I have not found much in the way of information on the install. I have had other brands of fans in past that had more information available from those who installed them. I am assuming hopefully this is correct that the rpm can be controlled from the motherboard for this fan.

If you are just referring to attaching it to the top case fan hole, an unqualified yes. It is a 140mm opening. That's the only one it will fit in though. As for pwm or 3 pin control that will depend on your motherboard. You are more likely to have motherboard control with a 4 pin fan, but only if you have 4 pin fan outs to use with it.

Some motherboards can speed control 3 pin fans. You may or may not have one.
