I've just ordered this from dabs as a little back up/access GPU: http://www.dabs.com/products/evga-geforce-gt-210-520mhz-1gb-pci-express-2-0-hdmi-877G.html

I also paid the extra £5 for it to be delivered tomorrow so even if that doesn't work its not a big amount of money down the drain. thumb.gif

Good luck! Definitely subscribed to hear an update on this one.

Depending on how much time you have or how bored you are, maybe you could make a bootable USB Linux drive that would have a generic nvidia driver to get something, then run drivesweeper from that? Just a thought?

Right am pretty sure I've managed to sort my problem but its only been a few hours. I received the Geforce 210 this morning, installed it as usual and the pc started fine. i then did the usual check of making sure the drivers etc are all unistalled and checking the bios were up to date which everything was. So i decided to try out what Gigabyte said and so far its worked, I switched between ufi and legacy on the pci boot priority. So far I've been running 3D Mark Fire Strike and all seems well so I think i'll update the bios on the cards see what happens thumb.gif
