Help With Updating Bitfenix Prodigy Looks

Hi Guys! I've recently built a new gaming PC in a Black Bitfenix Prodigy mini-itx case and need some help deciding how to make it look better than the stock look! I'll have a picture or two uploaded of the innards of the case (with the GPU removed since it blocks the view) so you guys can get an idea of what it looks like!

I would really just like a good flow of color, maybe black/orange or like red/orange/black... I was originally intending for a red/black color scheme, but the cougar fans screwed that up, unforunately. mad.gif

So I was wondering what you guys think about what I could do to make this system look more professional? Should I get braided cables? Should I throw in some LED strips? What color should I get? Where should I put them? Should I install a different front panel for the Prodigy?

And one terrible shot with the flash on just so you can all see the cabling and everything. thumb.gif

I hope these pictures are alright - I used my smartphone to take them. The only lighting currently inside the case is obviously the Corsair logo on the H100i. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Braided cables really do a number for how the PC looks, and I would look on Amazon as well: http://www.amazon.com/24P-R-Singled-Sleeved-24-Pin-Premium/dp/B003TSCZTE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

That is an extension cable I have (no rewiring!) and it really made my PC pop.

LED strip lights also wouldn't hurt!

Thanks for the reply. thumb.gif I'll definitely be looking into getting some braided cables, likely red like yours as well! I just bought the SofTouch front panel with red trim for my Prodigy, so I might as well get some more red accessories to complement it! I might need to buy the Silverstone PP05 Short Cable Set to make it easier to manage braided cables since there's not much place to hide the standard connectors if I were to go that route. Do you have any idea what brand LED strips would be good for using in my case?

I haven't tried them personally, but maybe these would work. Lots of customer reviews, seems to be a popular choice!

Hmm, those DO look nice. And a lot of length to work with as well! My only concern is: is there too much length for a case as small as the Prodigy? Also, I'd need to consider where to mount the IO plate thing, or whatever it's called, since the only available two ports are taken up by my 770... I don't necessarily mind having to mount it though - my main concern is the abundance of length. Any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure they have points along the strip that are safe to cut with scissors!
