Side Fan and Graphics Card Cooling

Thread Starter
Hello. Right now I've got my side fan on my HAF-X blowing air at my two video cards. However, since they are not reference designs, they just take air and throw it all around the case right? So wouldn't it be better to have the side fan exhausting air from the video cards, instead of having it blow around? The front fan is intake and blowing air towards the video cards, so they'd still be getting cool air.

The best was to go about this.would be to try both fan configuration intake/exhaust while gaming or benching to see which gives your gpu's the best temps, and which ever works best for you stick with it....

Yes i have heard that using a side case fan as and exhaust works pretty well removing that hot air from GPU's.

I tried it. Ran a Shogun 2 1080p benchmark before and after, and with the fan set to exhaust, both cards got about 5 degrees hotter, so I'll leave it as an intake.
