waterfox too slow, what's wrong?

hello

i have just installed waterfox but so far it's a complete disappointment... the typing comes with a delay, scrolling happens after a second i scroll, if i move the waterfox window, again it moves with a second of delay... if i change tab it does it with a delay.... my pc is a very powerful 16BG ram., 64 bit, system i can't explain what is wrong... please help were can i start troubleshooting? thank you

While waterfox has a much higher resource cap than the x86 firefox, inneficient coding means it takes up 3 to 6 times as much CPU power while doing the exact same tasks, and about twice as much RAM.
Bad performance camouflaged by it being used on enthusiast machines that could handle most anything.
Too bad the majority of x64 programmers only focus on how much resources it can use, and not how well it can use them.

My firefox can run 30+ tabs of youtube videos playing at the same time while using the resources it takes my waterfox to run 7 tabs of video and 3 on reddit, it is pretty depressing.
