use headphones and speakers at the same time??

Thread Starter
hey guys, so i have a set of computer speakers plugged in at the back of my pc, but i also want to use my sennheiser hd 280 headphones at the same time. both the devices HAVE to be plugged in at the back as the front audio jack has a lot of disturbance associated to it which i dont know how to solve. I have attached an image of the sound ports available at the back. i am using the green port for the speakers and was wondering if i could redirect the audio to the green port and ONE of the other ports (the headphones will be plugged in there).
any help would be appreciated
thanks!

It's an OS issue. Easiest thing is to get one of these these then get a program called "Virtual Audio Cable" and run a virtual line from your OS to the USB device.

If you get the Fiio E10 you can do this. It has lineout in the back for your speakers and in the front a headphone amplifier. Both speakers and headphones are played at the same time.

Depending on your sound card you could enable stereo upmix or speaker fill. You could also use a y-cable splitter
