Hey, neat build! The color choices and scheming remind me of my own build (which is nearly done!). I love seeing understated builds. Well done.

Lol, probably should have titled the thread something better but I was out of ideas.

Liquid Metal was one I considered for mine. I'm not planning on naming it though.

Hey what did you use for your side panel? is it smoked acrylic? I love how its very dark on certain areas but you can see very clearly on illuminated areas it reminds me of this case

I'd love to have a side panel like that on my case thumb.gif

Also what screw thing did you use to attach your side panel to the case it doesn't look like a screw but I like its smooth look if that makes sense

All in all great work would love to learn how to mod from someone like you smile.gif

Hey,

Nice build. The symmetry and colouring go well together thumb.gif

Your cabling is great . . . I wanted to cable my 24 pin but chickened out when I saw all the double wires (Corsair and their stupid proprietary rights). Still trying to figure out a way to make it match in with my build and not detract from the theme.

Anyway just wanted to say well done.

Thanks. They called it Gray Acrylic from the place I ordered it from, but yeah I've seen it called smoked acrylic/plexi. Be careful if ordering "smoked" though because sometimes its a tint/coating on it and it doesn't cut well. This stuff was cast in the color so no worries about chipping or scratching.

The design on it over the radiator was applied with VHT Niteshades, which is a type of tint spray. Light can still pass through it.

I used the generic thumb screws that came with my Antec Three hundred. Drilled holes then tapped them with a 6-32. I did have to make my own mounting tab for one out of JB weld though. Then I sprayed the edges with plasti-dip to prevent the side panel from scratching when I take it on and off.

Thanks man, took me a while to decide on colors lol. I was originally thinking of silver black and blue for the cables but I figured blue would look weird with the titanium-ish color on the sabertooth.

Yeah, Naming inanimate objects has always seemed a little strange in my opinion. I think you got the right idea without naming it and just calling it what it is.
