Crucial 1.6Ghz memory wont run at right speed M5A97 R2.0

Thread Starter
So I have 2x CRUCIAL SPECTEK 4GB DDR3 PC3-12800 CL11 ST51264BA160B memory.
It should run at 1.5V and 1600MHz but I am unable to get it running at right settings. The pc wont post when I'm using default settings
I have to press the MemOK button on the mobo to get it to post. It makes the ram run at 1333mhz and 1.6V.
Mobo is M5A97 R2.0, I tried D.O.C.P mode but no success. I also have no idea what the correct timings are for the ram because i'm unable to find any info about this ram.

Have the same kit. No matter what it doesn't run at 1600 , only at 1333 on my AMD Rig , i'm not particularly bothered by that though. Exchange for different kit if you can , cause my guess the issue will stay.

Does system boot with ram at 1333? If so, run Memtest86. If it clears 15-20 passes (12-18 hours) with zero errors ram is not faulty.

If it runs 1600 at CL11 it's likely the latencies are 11-11-11-28 2T OR 11-11-11-30 2T. Start with the latter, set voltage to 1.6 V, tighten timings if ram passes Memtest, and incrementally lower voltage once timings are where you want them.

Check your secondary latencies (the random non-important numbers such as tRFC and such that might give stability if adjusted.... particularly the one with the high numbers i.e. 110ns)
