Stuck on removing my motherboard?

Thread Starter
I'm taking everything out of my PC to install my Silver Arrow heatsink. However one of my MOBO screws wont seem to unscrew and is jammed or something, and the other thing is that how easily does the Motherboard actually lift away because the input part that is on the outside of my PC, won't seem to budge (probably because of this screw?)

Any Help??

I had 3 screws like this on my mobo, too. I bought an electric drill and literally drilled the head of the screws away. Of course, the standoffs had to be removed from the mobo tray and discarded.

Don't be afraid to push down a bit on the screw to make sure that your screwdriver is firmly in the screw, not like, your whole body weight, but put a little bit of force on it. Also, the motherboard, provided there's nothing still attached to it and no screws in it, should lift off of the mounts fairly easily. Be careful of bumping it on the case as you lift it out though.

So because I'm challenged by small objects such as screws I enlisted the help of my mother! rolleyes.gif
