You dont need to use it but it does make your rig look much better and more clean or at least thats what i think


My 900D didn't come with a midplate. I don't think corsair provides one on this case. Maybe they have plans to offer it separately as an accessory in the future. On mine I plan on making a murderbox style slightbox for mine in that place.
