I just got my 2755AMG yesterday and I have to say it provides really beautiful picture. I watched a few 1080p 10bit movies and I was very impressed. Out of 5 I'd give it a solid 4. The only reason it lost points was because of slight backlight bleeding (only noticeable on a black background). All 4 corners had slight backlight bleeding and the top also had very faint bleeding. The bottom right bleed was more apparent than the rest and it bugs me a little. There are also a few small scratches on the glass that are only visible while the monitor is off. I am going to try to use some scratch repair solution on it so I'll let everyone know how that works. Other than that, I have not been able to find any dead pixels at all.
The main con is a tossup between the backlight bleeding and the stand. I don't feel that the stand is as bad as some people claim but it is not solid by any means. I will say that tilting and rotating the monitor on that stand is not easy to do. I will be installing this desk mounting arm: http://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-Mid-Sized-All-In-One-Computers-45-214-026/dp/B001IWOBGI/ref=pd_bxgy_p_img_y
I emailed AccesoriesWhole about the screw hole situation that RSMJR87 reported in his review and they said that Crossover told them that the 100x100 VESA mount is "3mm volt". I think they meant 3mm bolt, which would be just as RSMJR said he used.
Overall I am happy with the monitor I got for the price. Although I would like to mention that anyone considering buying either the 2735/55AMG might want to look into buying the Achieva Shimian QH2700 as it is the same as the 2755AMG (LG AH-IPS 10bit). Based on this thread it looks like almost everyone who has the Crossover variant has some degree of backlight bleeding and that alone might be enough to look into the Achieva QH2700. Also Achieva sells the QH2700 with a perfect pixel guarantee, while Crossover has not began selling the 2755AMG with that guarantee yet.
Hopefully I will be able to take some pictures today of the backlight bleeding. I will definitely post pics of the mount I will be using provided I actually get it working. Oh and the shipping was amazing. It left Korea on the 24th and arrived at my doorstep on the 26th. Korea to Michigan in 3~ days is very impressive. The time difference from Korea to Alaska and then the continental US makes it look like it is faster shipping than it actually is but it is still super fast regardless.
Last thing is I will be hooking this up to my Clevo P150SM with a 8970m in it when I get it in a fews days. I already have the active mini displayport to dual-link dvi adapter so hopefully nothing goes wrong. The pictures I post later will be from a gtx 570 sli build.Edited by tino1317 - 7/27/13 at 11:25am
