TFTCentral review says this model has problem with brightness control; we decrease the brightness, the contrast also decreased. TFTCentral informed Achieva to fix it and they said they would. Could you comment about brightness control on your screen? Thanks.

My QH2700 does not have that problem, so I guess it's fixed thumb.gif

Actually I don't think a 680 will keep you locked at 60fps most of the time. I don't own one, so I can't say for sure, but I know with an overclocked and water-cooled 780, my average is between 60-75 fps, so it almost always stays about 60fps, but occasionally dips below. I think a single 680 might have trouble keeping you above 60fps. You could always try it and get a second one if you need it. 1440p is quite a bit more taxing on the GPU than 1080p, so you won't get nearly the same frame rates as you're used to if you're coming form 1080p.

On the other hand, my experience is completely based on playing BF4 on Ultra settings, so if you're not playing on Ultra or if you're playing a less demanding game, you could be completely fine.

Guys could you please share what windows scaling percentage are you using?
And what about browsing? I have 100% sight, but small text still too small and hard readable for me

If you mean that website text is too small, this is easily adjustable by pressing control and + for larger text.

For the windows desktop try 125% or 150% and see if that is better for you. Windows 8.1 has even more options I think.

I thought it was just small, medium, or large in Win 7? How can you adjust the desktop other than that? As for web browsing, I tend to keep it at 110 or 125. I wish there was something in-between.

Is it possible to make everything look on 1440p display like 1080p on 27' ?

125% scaling is just ugly

I checked this, and I found out that it will look only ugly if you do not "log off / log on" after changing scaling from 100 to 125% (for instance).

So change the scaling from 100% to whatever you want and then "log off" from desktop. Then "log on", now everything should be "larger" and "sharp".

Too really see the difference watch the Picture as "original" or right click on picture and open in new tab

I always log off. I though it not possible to change such thing because log off
post #500 of 604
I checked that in Windows 8. There is possible without log off but remains ugly. tongue.gif
Windows 7 wants a log off or won't change anything.
