Overclocking Phenom II X4 925 (C2)

Hello all,

I'm new to overclocking and was wondering if I could have a bit of help with my OC?

I have the 925 in an ASUS M4A87TD/USB3, cooled by a CM Hyper 212 Evo with 2 fans (push/pull)

Managed to get 3.5GHz @ 1.45v, FSB is @ 250, RAM is @ 1333MHz as it's 1333MHz RAM and I've tried to keep it as close to that as possible @ 1.5v which is stock, CPU/NB @ 2500MHz with 1.3v, NB @ 1.2v, HT @ 2000MHz with stock voltage as I'm not sure what to set this to. I have yet to mess with the RAM timings.

With the above settings the PC boots to Windows fine but fails after 5 mins of Prime95 so I'm seeking advice as to what to do now (what to lower or what to raise)

Thanks guys smile.gif

Oops, forgot about this thread.

Got it stable now with 250 FSB. vDroop was the culprit. I bumped the voltage slightly and it managed 5 hours under Prime95. I also changed everything else back to stock for stability.
