Widescreen borders on/off?

Hi, I've bought me an acer 22" widescreen monitor.

Now here is the following question.

When you turn to 1024x768 the screen is stretched.

In the nvidia drivers you can change this to have black borders.

This is my question, where can I change to have black borders arround the screen?

Als where can i change it back to have it stretched al over the screen?

tnx

I don't think you can switch it to black borders... Why don't you just run the native resolution?
Looks much better.

UHH, dude, you bought a 22" screen ad you're running it at 1024x768? thats a waste of money, you could probably run it at 1200x1600... there is not such thing as a Ws mode of 1024x768

put your desktop resolution to 1680x1050 (or 1920x whatever) for your monitor...whichever is the highest it will use (this is the native resolution)

Then you won't have to worry, except for games.

For that, just go into the nvidia control panel and go to LCD options or whatever it is...
Put "video card scaling"...or something like that...

That's what you're looking for. (I think).

If that's not it, let me know.
