Motherboard Build Quality?

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

Here is a link to quickly show what I'm talking about:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130692

What's all that with the c-cap, black caps, super ferrite choke? Do you think they do anything and are they worthwhile to get? I'm still learning but I must admit the way the advertise that stuff is pretty well done. Now I want one. tongue.gif

Slightly embarrassed to admit, I kind of want to get Sandy instead of Haswell but THEIR z77 MOTHERBOARD IS ONLY MILITARY CLASS 3 WITHOUT DARK CAPS! mad.gif
I can't believe myself, lol.

Anyways: Gimmick? Important? Thoughts?

It's marketing. It's like Ultra Durable branding from Gigabyte, but unlike Gigabyte's, MSI's branding is not really consistent.

In the end you need to look at a particular board, and atm it's not completely known what they really use in their boards. I know they use digital PWM and low RDS MOSFETs on GD65 though.
