Intel Core i5 4670 Build! What should I do? PLEASE HELP!!!

Alright guys. It's time for me to start a new build and I'm debating on which processor to get. Fry's electronics has just released a deal for an Intel 4670 and an MSI Z87 G45 Combo deal for $308. I thought this was amazing since the I was originally going to buy this motherboard for $160 from tigerdirect. I was planning to buy an i7 4770k though, not an i5 4670, especially a processor that is not unlocked... I can barely afford the i7 4770k for my build, in fact I might be in debt about $40 for a while until I pay it off. But if I were to buy the i5 4670 combo, it would save me a lot of money, and I could get it today. Also, I will be buying an EVGA GTX 770 ACX colling graphics card, if I buy the i5 4670, there should be no problems with bottlenecking, correct?

SHORT QUESTION VERSION:

1. Should I buy an i5 4670 Msi Z87 G45 COMBO for $308, or should I buy the same mobo for $160, then the i7 4770K for $330?

2. Is there that big of a difference between the i5 4670 and the i7 4770k IF I WI NOT BE OVERCLOCKING?

3. Will there be any bottleneck issues with an i5 4670 and a GTX 770?

Thanks A Lot guys, I look forward to your answers! thumb.gif

1) If you're not planning to ever overclock and/or run SLI, you would be best served (in terms of budget) by getting an i5-4570 + an B85 or H87 motherboard.

2) The only major difference between an i5-4670 (non-K) and the i7-4770K at stock speeds is the i7's hyper-threading. The performance that HT brings is variable by application, and gaming usually doesn't make too much use of it.

3) There won't be any bottleneck with a non-overclocked i5 + a GTX 770.

The combo deal only includes an i5 4670, I can't swap it out with a K. If I were to buy the separately, the i5 4670k would cost me $250, then the motherboard would cost me $160....so that would be $410, which is not worth it.
