Will all these components work together?

Thread Starter
I've decided to go ahead and build my own gaming rig for around £300, and have decided on all the parts I want.
- Case: Sharkoon VS3-V
- Motherboard: AsRock FM2A75M-DGS
- CPU: AMD A4 5300
- Graphics card: Radeon HD6450 FleX
- PSU: CiT 650W or Corsair 430W
Are there are other parts that I will need, and will these work together?

They will indeed. you'll need storage too

Recommend an SSD for boot drive and a HDD for mass storage

You will need some RAM as well. Furthermore, I think you would be better off by getting this CPU instead of the CPU/GPU combination you have now. I think the graphics are sufficient for some light gaming.

Ah, I completely forgot about RAM and HDD/SSDs. I'll probably have 4GB of 1600mhz RAM, and I have a spare 160GB lying around I think.

The reason I chose that CPU and GPU combination was so I use the computer with the integrated graphics, and then put in the 6450 when I could afford it. The reason I chose the 6450 was so I could have 3 monitors. That way I can do homework on one screen and Skyrim on the others! biggrin.gif

Just had a look at the motherboard specs, it says it's compatible with the Radeon HD7000 series, but doesn't mention the 6000 series. Would it also work with the HD6450?
