Oh, of course. I just meant that I've seen systems that have them all sandwiched together and I never understood how it was even possible. Understanding the way that the reference coolers work allow me to see how it would be possible, though still a bad idea.

You don't like liquid cooling? also what case do you have?
I haven't bought my case, yet. I'm still waiting until I find the motherboard I want, which is most likely going to be an E-ATX as I'm hoping to find a Gigabyte G1 Sniper 3, so I will need a large case, which I want anyways because of airflow and room for expansion.
I have nothing against liquid cooling, it just scares me and I can't afford to build a proper loop right now. I'll be cooling my CPU with either an H110 or Kraken X60 but everything else will be pure air.

but as far what your looking for a GTX 780 is the way go ignore my signature rig(baby's and bills to pay now) i am down to a matrix 7970 platinum @1300Mhz core @7000Mhz VRam and at 1080p i don't have much trouble maxing any game out other than Crysis like games 80 plus frames average
Yeah, I don't think I'll ever be quite that extreme. lol The most I'd be willing to go would be 780 SLI or 770 Tri-SLI, and that's ONLY if I decide to use triple monitors. Otherwise, a single 780 or 770 SLI should be perfect for my needs.
I'm hoping that the EVGA 780s and Gigabyte 770 4GB come back in stock soon at Newegg. :/
You have a beautiful baby, by the way. Congrats.
