[Antec 900] Case blows hot air into my eyes and dries out my contacts

Thread Starter
So my Antec 900 is drying my contacts out and I can't really play that long even when im wearing my Gunnars. Right now I am using no case fans whith the top hole and side hole covered up and just the stock ivy bridge cooler is enough to blow in my face some how. I have my computer under the desk and the rear exhaust fan against the wall. I have tried the computer to the right of my sub woofer which is to the right of my desk but it still doesnt help. Does anyone have any ideas before I have to try to make a duct of some sorts?

Theres honestly no way that the stock cooler is blowing hard enough to escape through the rear exhaust hole and blow warm air into your eyes - the stock cooler blows air down onto the cooler, not up.

move your case to below eye level?

Maybe you applied your contacts wrong? know from others using contacts that if they dry your eyes out you should probably talk to an eye specialist.

Not sure how hot air from your pc which is under your desk dries your eyes...
It's not your case, it's your eyes drying out from staring at a screen for long periods of time. I'm terribly farsighted, so my contacts are pretty thick. Gaming with them causes them to dry out because I stop blinking as rapidly while I focus on the game. Same thing as when I'm driving, I just stop blinking as rapidly. In fact, any time where I'm focusing on a fixed field of view like a monitor, window, etc.

Best way to fix it is to wear your prescription glasses when you game. Next option is to have some eye drops on hand.

The case is under my desk not over it. My desk is small though and not good at blocking air: http://www.staples.com/Staples-Cameron-Computer-Desk-Espresso/product_476967?externalize=certona

I have been wearing contacts for years and they only give me problems if air is blowing in my face for extended periods of time.

I have all of the case fans unplugged its just the stock cpu cooler.

Its the air I can feel it hitting me. When i stare at a monitor all day they get a little blurry but its a much different thing then drying out and I can differentiate between the 2.
