Non-SLI mixing cards

Hey everyone, I had a quick question. I currently have a GTX 570 and two monitors and want to buy a third. I think I've read before that I could buy another cheap video card and hook the third monitor up to that. Is this possible/a good idea? I was looking at something like this for the second card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130602

This isn't a gaming setup, the third monitor would only be used for non-demanding tasks (desktop application type stuff). Thanks.

If not gaming as you stated every card will do hence even a AMD/ATI card would do. (as long it has the ability to connect to your monitor that is.

Cool, thanks. Just to clarify, since I realized my OP was unclear - I want to game on one of the other monitors hooked up to my GTX 570, just not on the third monitor hooked up to the cheap card. This will be fine, right? Thanks again.

Should work perfectly fine if you even want to game on the extra screen you can always go surround on newer cards or use softth.
a gt210 or equivalent are the preferred choice since they are so cheap or a hd5450/hd6670.
