Unless you plan to go multi-gpu go with option 2 or an 1155 build. Gaming-wise...x79 offers the most pcie lanes (40) but if you don't use them it's a waste. If you choose x79, go with a 3820...gaming won't use all those 3930k cores. For vga...if you plan on staying at 1080p/1440p get one with a minimum of 3GB of gddr, higher rez you should find a 4GB+ card. Would generally advise 2GB/3GB cards for 1080/1440 but BF is a memory pig. If you want to game in 3D, a 680 with 4GB should be plenty (unless you want to throw down the bucks for a 780). You could always add another 680 down the road. As ahnafakeef stated, don't bother watercooling 6xx or 7xx series nvidia cards. As an aside...I've got a cm690II case with dual 240 rads for sale. Could be an option if you want to upgrade watercooling...pm me if you're interested.
