Need help with Triple Channel.

Thread Starter
Just purchased 4gbx3dimm 12gb Triple Channel ram 1866 rated, Kingston Hyper X. (it was an rma) I am having issues with blue screens on trying to just put Dram frequency at 1866 like the rated spec. So its just sitting at Auto Now...

Is this ram voltage rated 1.65 like others?

I wanted to put it as 1866, 2n and 1.65 Voltage am I completely off with what I am asking for.

Meanwhile this is on my stock i7 950 3.07ghz quadcore... Do I need to OC that as well/!?!?

What model is the RAM? Need this information to know exactly what you have.

Test each stick one at a time to see if they all work the same. If one does not boot, it is probably defective and causing problems.

CPU OC is not required for the RAM to run at DDR3-1866, but it can improve overall performance.

Cheers
