Thread Starter
Ended up grabbing the 4670K/UD4H bundle from Micro Center -- pretty hard to pass that deal up.

The following is based on that I will OC, but not ridiculously -- I'll do what's relatively easy and call it good.

RAM -- I can't make sense of everything that's out there, Newegg alone has 3 G-Skill models that look the same at 1600. Looks like Sandy & Ivy didn't really care about speed/timings but Haswell is going to care per this article. So, 1600 or 2133 at what timings? Or maybe it still doesn't really matter? Probably just go with 8GB as nothing I do needs 16GB as far as I can tell.

And I'm currently using a Noctua U12P and it looks like I can get a bracket that will work on the newer sockets -- just stick with this old thing or upgrade to a DH14 or Phanteks?

Appreciate everyone's help!
