Thank you all for your input, I liked reading what you had to say very much:).

BTW, if anyone is interested in finding an FX-8300 or 95W FX-8120 you might be able to get one from an HP or Asus parts distributor or you could even get the FX-8300 from Japan. The Japan route would probably require a forwarding service. Like Tenso for example.

Ive been waiting for amd to release the FX8300 95w so I can replace my FX6100 but ive searched and saw that it was only for OEM.
How do I order one for my custom built desktop?
I live in Philippines btw

Although a bit expensive for $200

A new FX8320 only costs $173 here. Might as well get that and undervolt / underclock to get a 95w TDP

I was considering undervolting but after some research I think that the 8300/8120 95W procs are likely binned for lower power instead of undervolted by AMD. 30 watts is a huge difference so I figured that I might get the proc a few watts down (5-10) but would then need to raise voltage again to get a stable overclock. You could get the 8120 95W. I was reading a review by one of the XtremeSystems guys and he got it pretty high.

Stay away from FX-Bulldozer and if staying / going AMD then FX-Piledriver is what you want..

This.

Bulldozer had a lot of design compromises because AMD was late getting it out the door, and its IPC is much lower than a Phenom II at a much higher level of power consumption. Honestly, an FX-4100 at stock won't be much faster than your Q6600, which has about the same IPC as an Athlon II of the same speed.

You need about 300-600 more MHz on a Bulldozer to match the same performance as a Piledriver with the same number of cores. AMD fixed some of the design flaws with Piledriver and improved performance by 10-15 percent while lowering the power draw.

If you want AMD, Piledriver is the best choice. The APU's are very good products too, and even Phenom II can still offer good value for the money, since those end-of-run 965BE's that you can still buy seem to OC to 4 GHz as a matter of course. You shouldn't buy a Bulldozer now unless you get it for cheap and you have a good enough mobo and cooling to overclock it to the max.
