As for lighting, I personally don't use any, but I think that 6 LED strip would do the job well. I have a feeling that, depending on how subtle or loud you want the lighting to be, the 6 LED strip might actually be too much light. I'm personally looking at acquiring a single white led for my case (mounted around graphics card height), and teaming it with two of corsair's new white LED AF140 fans on the roof. Hopefully that amount of light isn't too overpowering for my personal tastes tongue.gif

My push-pull setup is in the front intake area of my case. You're right, there's simply not enough room for push-pull in the top area unfortunately. I actually experimented with forcing a push-pull setup in the top area, by mounting the two 'pull' fans on top of the 350D. It's ugliness was matched only by the terrible vibration sounds haha. Not recommended, personally. tongue.gif

I have heard of people rigging up their LED light strips to a fan control. That enables them to turn them down. It sounds really handy and almost necessary given how bright LEDs can be.

haha well It's not going to stay this way my last build was blue themed I want this one to be themed after the yellow orange color that accents the motherboard. But I would rather not use dyes and clear tubing so I have to figure out a way around that. plus re sleeve my extensions and build a psu cover + some other bits. It's really a long ways off from done and might remain that way till june

I got it to stop, but still hear this noise that might be caused by the shroud or something. I have not been able to do anything so far as benchmark or temp monitoring, however the idle temp was fine. The bottom one was cooler by at least 5 degrees, but I would think that is to be expected. I'm not sure if I can use the last PCI-E slot and if that'll affect performance, but the airflow would be better. I gotta do more research on my mobo. Below is a picture from my phone with the new card.

Awesome, thank you! Cards being that close together just kinda makes me nervous. It's the only reason I'm worried about going mATX.

I put this "divider" in between the cards so they stay away from one another. The fans don't touch now. I really think it's the shroud of the ASUS CU II card that is the issue. If I let the top card touch the bottom you hear the fan come to a screeching halt!

Edit: Also, sorry for being a post whore. I'm excited to chat with you guys! biggrin.gif

Hey all, new 350D owner here. Got my build moved from my TJ08E last night, wanted to vent about a few problems I ran into. First, here's specs:

4670k @ 4.4Ghz
ASUS Impact
2x4GB Mushkin Blackline Ridgebacks
EVGA GTX770 2GB
Seasonic X650
Samsung 840 Pro 120Gb

I had a H80i in my TJ08E that I transferred to the 350D but I have that pending sale now and got a H100i.

First problem I ran into, I wanted to mount the H100i in the top, but it wouldn't clear with my fans due to the VRM daughter board on the ASUS Impact. I could get slim fans, but I want to use my current ones. So instead I mounted it to the front, which barely cleared as well, fortunately Corsair foresaw this and made different mounting holes for 240 radiators. So that works.

That was my biggest gripe so far, the Impact is such a good board, but since it's mITX and packed full of features, everything is so compact to work with. I should have got a Gene or Gryphon for ease of use, I guess.

2nd, I ordered a Lamptron FC5 V2 got it all plugged up and the dial knobs only work from 0 to about 45 degree, either running at 0V / OFF or 12V/MAX, nothing in between. I messed around with it for about an hour, unplugging, rebooting it on different settings. No luck. So I got that on Refund status with Newegg.

Will post some pictures when I get home. Thanks for reading!

Idle or load?
What voltage are you running?
