Same thing happened to me actually, with my side window. When I took off the protective film,it had a mark of sorts..but I said what the heck,it's a rather small one..
And then, when I was tinkering with my case,I tried to clean it up with a non microfiber cloth and it became full of scratches!!!!!!Luckily I was suggested a plastic polish cream from a member of this thread, and it looks better now..But if I wanted a new panel, tough luck,Corsair doesn't deliver in Greece as far as I can tell from their website..
Hope it works out for you flawlessly, man. And don't forget, you can always ask a Corsair Rep here in the forum for help..They'll at least answer all your questions faster,I think..
You're a sound guy.
Sorry to hear it has happened to you too. They really need to improve their packaging or QC at their factories. That sucks that they don't ship to Greece- that is disgraceful if they don't, their EU base should ship everywhere in Europe. Something I have noticed with Corsair is you have to keep chasing them up. Have you called them using their toll free number and Skype? Or their live chat?
I don't suppose you could recommend that plastic polish? It sounds like the plastic is very soft if it scratches from a microfiber cloth! I don't want to go scratching the side panel whilst cleaning it!

Various locations holding the same case with no problems yet your case has a problem so I would place the blame on your specific retailer and not on Corsair.
Where did you guys with the scratches and scuffs purchase from?
So because yours didn't arrive scratched, that must mean it is the retailers fault? Is that your argument? because if it is, it doesn't hold any water.
Once again, it was not the retailers who made/ designed the case. It was not the retailers who decided not to protect both sides of the window panel. It was not the retailers who designed the protective packaging. It is not the retailer who does the QC.
You don't seem to realise that which shop you buy it from has nothing to do with this. What next, blame your retailer for having a DOA DIMM of RAM?
I have bought so many computer components I don't even want to think about it, every time I do, I get this pain in my wallet.
100s. Every different types of component you can think of, from lots of different retailers. None of them arrived damage, why? because they were all adequately packaged.
Retailers do not package. Any company worth it's salt know items get knocked about during shipping so they make sure the protective packaging is adequate.

ok sorry needed to say that, in that fashion
Q3 Haswell E will be released with 8 Cores instead of the Ivy E 6 and probably for a near dead price range.
Advantages to waiting for X99 is DDR4 RAM, 8-Cores, and a full and better PCIe rendition, also there is rumors of the new SATA revision as well.
Exactly, just rumors. 8 cores would be nice and all, but hardly anything ultalises 4 cores, let alone 8 and just how much do you expect DDR4 RAM to cost? I think you have unrealistic expectations about cost here. E platform is already a pricey platform and then add DDR4 on the top of that.
A dead platform? I see no logic in that, all platforms have a short lifespan including Ivy-E. If you forever wait for the latest and greatest in tech, you will never end up buying anything- there is always something newer and better around the corner.
I am happy with my new build it will tide me over for a few years, at which point DRR4 prices will have dropped and more programs & games will be utilising more cores. I could of waited to buy Ivy-E but then I thought, no thanks to the early adopter premium.
