Hello friend, congratulations, your machine is very cool. Can you tell me about removing the 3.5 bay? When you removed, did you need to paint some black parts to retouch, or is the chassis all painted black?
I ask, therefore, if the chassis was painted black after placing the 3.5-bay, it will probably be different colors when you get it, now if the chassis and the bay are painted separately and then mounted, then yes, it would not need touch-ups if you pull The bay;
Thank you

Thanks,
I thought I would not have to cut, just remove the rivets. It seems to me that the dvd bays, 3,5 are placed only with rivets, no?

Unfortunately not the side sections are actually one peice with the front of the case. The cage is made up of a L and a side section.

I'm getting tired of my Air 240 GPU height restriction and I'm looking into the 350D. I'm just not sure if it's worth to look at this case in 2017. It's a 4-yr old case by now. Any recommendations, warnings?

In my opinion the Obsidian series from Corsair is one of the best looking case series like ever,lol

That being said,it is a four year case and it all comes down to what you want...If you remove the HDD/SSD trays and (with some modding) the ODD bracket you'll have plenty room for good airflow and watercooling..

I have both the Air 240 and the 350D , and the 350D is more mATX friendly indeed..More space for airflow , bigger clearance for longer gpus,taller cpu coolers,AIO's etc..

If you want tempered glass ,PSU shrouds, usb 3.1 or stuff like that , then no , this case is not for you..

But if you check the build pics in this thread you'll see that you can accommodate a pretty beastly mATX system in this case with no problems..

This is my latest setup with Corsair 350D. I love this case biggrin.gif

I'm planning to install a Corsair h115i with the new 8700K at Octomber. Current setup is 3770K, MVG, MSI GTX1080, Samsung EVO 960 1TB in a pci-E card.

Should I put the radiator in front or at the Top ???? i will remove the 2.5'' cage
