I feel like a total n00b seeing all these custom loop watercooled builds, but anyways here's mine. I transplanted from a TJ08-E last night. Going to be adding a second GTX 670 FTW right away (if the eBay auction I'm bidding on doesn't go past $325 or so all-in).
I am trying to decide what color scheme I want for lighting. I was thinking either all green or green led strips with red led fans and red alchemy cabling for the PCI-E connections. I will replace the front 140mm intake and put two 140mm intake led fans. I will replace the CPU fan and rear exhaust fan with led fans. My board has 4 fan connections so those are all used up at that point. I will either seal off the top somehow or add two more fans, one intake and one exhaust. I still have the magnetic filter from my TJ08-E that fits well in the recessed top of the 350D. I would mount an intake fan on the inside/middle area, so fresh air would be going to the cpu fan. I would put an exhaust beside it to help vent heat from the back.
Watercooling would be nice only for the fact that it looks nicer and takes up less visible space, but still seems unnecessary in most scenarios. My Hyper 212+ keeps my idle temps in the high 20's and under 60 C full load.
Thanks for any input!Edited by rileyscottp - 8/23/13 at 1:47pm
