How to tell if a card is reference or not?

How do I tell if a graphics card is a reference card or not? Specifically for Nvidia.
Thank you

Usually you can Google your card and easily find out. Usually cards made to have multiple fans and very nice heatsinks are not reference... What card exactly are you trying to see if it's reference?

I was looking to get a 670. Not sure which card exactly but just a 670.

670 is a virtual card so no true reference, but some may be reference PCB (small PCB)

Best way is to google the model.
