Please suggest a cpu based on the performance of searching in ram drive loaded PDF files

May I ask which cpu benchmark outlines querying performance? I presume there are not any gpu accelerated softwares currently available to query pdf searches, please correct me if I'm mistaken.
I'm looking forward to offloading all tranfers to a ram drive to speed up querying by eliminating any storage sided bottlenecks.
Intel's series have pretty insane memory bandwidth for ram drive transfers however 4770K is pretty expensive and doesn't respond all that well to overclocking looking at these power consumption results that look inconvenient.
I wonder if 7-zip compression tests are valid in comparison.

Personally I would say anything with really good single thread performance might help you here. So the i7 2600k upwards.

Whats important here is your storage, the IOPS and random reads. However if you will be loading everything into a RAMDISK then I don't think you will have a problem.

Thank you for your cool response. I'm using Foxit, not Adobe although I don't know if either supports multithreading.
I am aiming for the best, so I need more people's opinions.

If you can find out if your reader supports multithreading that would be useful.

Obviously the best would be a 4770k.
