Edit: It has a 3050... doh.gif

Am I being an idiot or was this mouse actually advertised as having a 3310?

Edit 2: IT'S ON THEIR BLOODY WEBSITE! PMW3310! WUT?!

Edit 3: So, apparently I got the "driverless" version of the mouse which apparently has a 3050 instead of a 3310. That's something they obviously forgot to mention...

damn that really sucks.

Before you buy anything off Ebay first ask the seller what sensor is inside it.

That will let you know what you are buying and you can use the answer he gives you, to do a Claim later on if you're not happy with it.

Be smart when buying anything from Ebay teaching.gif .

What is the actual closed-form equation implemented in the Interaccel program?

1+1=3

you can check the source or see a visualization in the gui.

iirc it's a power law with a plateau.

What I was specifically asking about is how variables such as "acceleration" and "sensitivity" are used in the equation.

I forgot that the source code was included in the package. Thanks, I'll check it out.

I've seen it before. iirc what I thought was interesting was the non standard way they had the bottom lens covered up by the shell and the blue shell white tip huano switches.

the lines in paint that i saw did not look pretty though imo.

Blue case white tip huano, eh? Mmm, tastey!

Preferring huanos over omrons these days. They have a sharp "snap" sound compared to omrons.

I think 3310 should be even better in those regards.

used it with old mice like MLT04 sensors and all that stuff and no issues.
only issue was when using WMO with Puretrak HD feet cause of the distance between pad and sensor.

Indeed the 3310 works perfectly fine on a glass pad, i didn't get the Mionix Castor since it has a bad reputation for click latency, so here is a little background:

I've a very specific mouse handling: my ring finger is next to the right click button at the same level, I palm in the desktop and I finger tip while gaming. The G5 was the perfect mouse for this.

Once the mouse wheel started leaking I replaced it with the G500 (since the G5 was discontinued), my in game performance went down a bit but I dealt with it. Now the G500 is double clicking or the click don't stay pressed.

Now I would like to know if there is another gaming mouse with the same shape than the G5. I tried the G502 but the sniped button forced a claw shape, so I sent it back.
I tried the FK-1 and i'm doing OK with it due to it's very low weight, but I don't like the "no CPI customization" and I lost a little bit of confort once again. I may try the EC-1A if they were the same weight but that wont fix the CPI issue.

So any idea ?

Thanks for your help smile.gif
