The unspecific Mouse Thread - Page 124

Funny thing. I actually thought I spotted a difference a long way back. I think it was a different brand of bios chip? That was it though.

That and they changed the advertising to accurately reflect that the mouse was 500hz only.

CYONS2100 was where it was somewhat manageable on cloth. Still better on a hard pads though. Better would equal not god freaking awful in this case. By this time though Cypress realized the whole endeavor wasn't profitable.

I think the Dexin/Tatsuo Mibru is the only CYONS2001 consumer mouse outside of the development kit sample mouse. Which I would love to have but I doubt I'll ever see one.

EVGA tapping out? That's pretty disheartening as I felt they had the best under the radar mouse. Probably the best price to performance mouse on the market.

Fully agree - the X5 has a lot going for it and you could see them nailing a great product if only they would tackle a couple of minor flaws (especially the wheel).

Then again it never felt they committed to the peripherals fully from the get go - if you look at other companies either you go all in on marketing those or try to cater to a (hardcore) nice market. A good product in itself isn't enough to sustain your business in that segment - you need to have a clear strategy and I never have seen them doing much on that front.

Anyone know any good glass pads? Can't seem to find any. Or maybe another hardpad is better.
