Why does the material/build quality look so poor already in the promo photos?

because they're shot under proper ambient lighting and they're not given a strong photoshop makeover

they're preview shots basically

imo this mouse actually looks like it has a lot of thoughtful quirks, like the notches to make taking off the feet be reasonable

Does anyone know if this DA is a 3G or one of the 3320 versions? It claims to be the "3G Infrared Sensor" but wasn't the 3G non-infrared?

It has the s3668. Just so you know the firmware allows only up to 1m/s max. tracking speed.

S3668 is a modified A3080 (or A3060?) right? Also 1m/s PCS or malfunction speed?

Can't comment on modifications, always considered it to be just "the proper 3090". Max. tracking as in malfunction, doesn't go any higher.

Do all S3668s suffer from 1m/s max tracking speed or just this Chinese bootleg version? If any of the 3668s can achieve above 1m/s (even 1.5m/s is fine) then it's usable for me, I just have to find a proper 3G in that case, I never go above 0.8m/s at the absolute maximum anyway. 25.19cm/360

The original 3G Deathadder is akin to average 3090 mice with 3...4 m/s malfunction speed. It's the MCU and firmware that matter. You could swap the board from the original 3G into the white/silver/pcbang shells. Same goes for the 3.5G board, with a little bit of work

How's the actual "feel" on the 3060? Seen a few Zowie EC2s on eBay, and something else I'm more intrigued about, how's the "feel" on the CYONS1001U? I remember you saying that the Ikari malfunctioned on cloth at 0.3m/s, but is the cursor feeling any decent?
