The unspecific Mouse Thread - Page 133

That reminds me that I need to order a Deathadder cable off ebay for the Ventus R. The default cable is actually lighter and thinner the G303's heavy ass default cable, but the cable is still too thick and heavy for my tastes.

uaok rockin' an esports mouse,
is the peripheral industry truly lost?

I look at it more as a Dexin mouse. But that's just me. I am confident to say it's the first 3310 mouse I have ever liked.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Without going into detail, until I updated the firmware on this mouse I thought it was broken.

Firmware updater will not run even with 3.03 installed. Just fails, and it seems that the firmware I got with the DA has angle snapping, not that I mind.

EDIT: Reinstalled the software and now it detects the mouse, alright...

Hate to say this Alya, but there was actual legit NIB 3G(Kingsis version) White Version a month back on ebay. Not the 1m/s bad firmware version too. Went for like $60. I actually thought of buying it just to so I could take the white cable and use it on my Diamondback Plasma Solutions.

How do you define it? Also, is it any different hardware-wise?

I got this for pretty cheap (half of what that NIB version costed, actually.) and I didn't plan to use it long-term, plus $60 is quite a bit, I could be using that money to buy the Logitech ~PRO GAMING~ mouse that I already pre-ordered. I also got the firmware to update, reinstalled the software, updated the firmware, mouse cursor stopped responding, rebooted, got a Windows update, works fine now.

Is it typically good practice to install drivers and firmware for 3G/3.5G DA's? I've read terrible things about Razer software, especially Synapse

I had to install the "Legacy" drivers (3.03, 3.05 apparently makes the cursor freeze for a few milliseconds every couple minutes) to flash the firmware with 1.28 "NDC" (no drift control) which removes prediction and lowers the click latency to about 3ms, since the latency is usually 13ms.

I uninstalled the software right after.
