I'm used to our work being copied - and it's not just counterfeiters that do that - lots of established peripherals and hardware companies copy our products too. And many of them start pretending to be gaming companies. Just today, the Razer Firefly (which has been copied before) was copied by yet another company.

The real difference is - we design and engineer our products from ground up - we have some of the most talented engineers and technologists in the world - and our tech is a generation ahead.

Most of these other companies just copy - they don't engineer, they don't design, they just copy and claim to be gaming companies all of a sudden. They then start saying stuff like "our gear is better than Razer because we use Cherry switches" (ironically - we were one of the first to popularize them before we went on to design our own switches) or "Designed with real progamers!" etc. And there will be those who are fans of such companies - but usually they're fans of the price point, or they just want to look different, etc.

But over the years - many of these copycat companies have come....and many have gone. The true test is design, engineering and technology. You can't copy that. Why? Becuase they don't have the technology. They don't have the engineering talent. And most of all - they don't understand the culture.

For Gamers. By Gamers. There's only one Razer.

What a deluded man.

They just don't understand the culture behind saying that they work with pro gamers and marking their prices up to 10x what it costs for them to make the product. Zowie, SteelSeries, and Logitech don't do ANY of the things Razer does, am I right? rolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gif

Lol wait. They're talking about other companies copying their stuff, then mentioned a company that made a mouse that looks like the Mamba.

But I mean, this is pretty close, too..

He's referring to the Steelseries Qck Prism.

I just imagine him as hamming it up when he posts this type of stuff. Like a wrestler or something. Especially when you consider that Steelseries mice have in the past come from the same manufacturer that Razer's mice came from.

Oh yeah, ik. But tbh, does anyone really care that someone used your RGB mousepad "idea"? It honestly sounds like the result of one drunken night out where somebody suggested "Hey guys, what if we put RGB lights in a mouse pad lmao", and then they kept at it. xD

Lol, SS is just roasting them, here.

Daym..
