Need help overclocking my i7 960!

Hi I would like someone knowledgeable who has an i7 960 or any i7 9xx CPU to double check these OC settings I'm using: http://www.overclock.net/t/1111462/help-me-overclock-i7-960-on-asus-x58

Now to be clear, I have done the exact step by step when OC my i7 960 and it was stable for months, however, recently I wondered if disabling all of those CPU functions would have any limitation on gaming? If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Only thing that stands out of those settings is that HT is:

Intel HT Techology: Disabled

This is a good option for gaming as most games don't use more then 4 threads. I think BF3 uses more than 4 threads/cores though.

The other settings look fine, voltages ect.

I don't know of any games that benefit from hyperthreading. Linus Tech Tips had some data that showed hyperthreading hurt performance on BF3.

4core vs 6 core.

even if not a perfect scientifc test, it shows scaling and min fps rate is showing a 6 core is the choice to go with if one want the optimum BF3 experience and maybe for Bf4.

Perhaps. Here's the Linus TT vid I was talking about. CPU performance hardly matters with gaming anyways.
