Radeon 6770 Clocks Stuck

Thread Starter
OK i have a small issue, that i have been tackling for a few hours and can't seem to fix.

I have a Sapphire Radeon 6770 that i unlock the Voltage on through a small bios mod, i increased 2 clocks o the Rom to allow fr higher Overclock, but now whenever i try to increase clocks on anything there stuck at 400(gpu), 1150(ram).

In programs like GPU-Z, HIS overclocking utility, Sappire Trixx the GPU clock reads as the overclock but when i check in another program (dont flag this as discussion about Cryptocurrencies please) CGMiner, and also Reaper the GPU and Ram clocks are at 400Mhz(GPU) and 1150 Mhz(Ram) while the Voltage goes up fine.

Any suggestions on waht i can do?

Links to the Roms are

Original Rom

Modded Rom

The Rom files are from my computer and can be opened and looked at with the program TechPowerup Radeon Bios Editor v1.28

Maybe because you edited the speed states, i mean like idle mhz, load mhz the drivers are just flipping out.

Maybe if you try the Voltate Unlock only on the bios, then unlock the Higher Max Clock speeds in Afterburner and see how much MHz you can squeeze out thumb.gif

OK so i'm thinking that the bios has a built in lock or something maybe even ardHareW related, because from what i can gather, as soon as i set the Voltage above stock(1.100 even to 1.101 it will stop working properly.
