Logitech G19 Posting problem

Thread Starter
G'day guys, I bought a G19 for a mate of mine, who uses a Q6600 quad intel, with a P5K Pro (I think) motherboard.

And whenever he has the Keyboard connected the computer doesnt Post (screen remains black).
Unplugging the keyboard is fine..

But having to unplug the keyboard everytime he turns the computer on gets annoying, is there a possible solution? Other USB keyboards work fine, even the G15 is fine and boots normally.

My thought it that perhaps the extra power to run the keyboard is somehow leaking into the USB port causing problems, can this happen? Is the keyboard defective? Compatibility issue perhaps?

Any ideas?

I tried unplugging the extra power adapter plug, no difference. Also tried changing to several different ports, no difference either.

Other than completely unplugging it, the computer doesn't post..

Make sure the drivers are up to date for the device. Sometimes I have had some issues with the G15 or G19 before getting the drivers installed. Usually my problem is the keyboard is not recognized or will not work at all.
