MySQL

Had no idea where to post this but this looks like it might do >.>

Right so, basically our dedicated server was completely backed up and moved to another location, considering our hosts were having some problems at their data-centres and we had to be moved due to "software corruption" or something. As far as I can tell they didn't use the back-up function that you get with the MySQL workbench that'd make it into a sql dump file. So, I had to re-download/reinstall all the MySQL stuff, made a new database and it's all connected and ready to be used and have tables added to it, question is, is there anyway to get the old tables/database back through the program files directly rather than finding a backed up dump file? and if so where would it be? I've looked round tirelessly but can't seem to find anything that looks like our old tables/database >:

This might better be answered in the section
Overclock.net › Forums › Software, Programming and Coding › Operating Systems › Windows

You might get lucky if you have a DBA or SA look in this section.

C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\data,

Is the data part well the standard install path but i dout itll be in .db or .sql form, what was the "software issue" they had? Its stange for it to knock out your database the best option maybe to tell em to put the other server back online n do a normal backup
