I can already see where this one is going.

Step 1: EA can't possibly be OK with the XB1's "sharing games with 10 people" policy, and likely will be the first publisher to find a way to turn that feature OFF. (i guarantee that 10 games policy has a loophole for publisher's to opt out).
Step 2: To quell the bad press EA/M$ will be forced to back peddle, and EA will announce their games CAN be shared to 10 people. However, the result is while 10 people can play your game, they have no DLC, and all EA games from this point on, will be basically unplayable without DLC; a glorified demo, with progress locked out at a certain point.
Step 3: When you sell a used EA game, you cannot transfer your DLC in the sale.

Result:

New owners of the used game will be buying a glorified demo, and be forced to purchase DLC to "unlock" most features which make the game "playable" to the end. All games in the future follow EA's example, and the physical, playable media of the past will come to an end, as all publishers release demos which you buy for full price, then have to purchase additional DLC to unlock and "play" the game to the conclusion.
