AMD 7990 Experiences and Information?

Thread Starter
I recently won a AMD 7990 from my local computer hardware store biggrin.gif I want know what kind of performance some of you 7990 owners are getting. Is the microstutter as bad as people say? And does it have any overclocking ability?

Yes, it's pretty bad. But the good news is, you'll soon have drivers which improve that. They are scheduled for release in July.

Some review sites were able to test the beta version of these.

As to overclockability, you will be pretty limited by the power dissipation but 1100MHz core should be achievable.

Just sell it man. With the money you can get next-card and have plenty left.

These things are so expensive and lose value rapidly.
