Searching for a Motherboard and new Memory - Page 2

I'd sell those 7600GT's and buy an 8800GTS. The eVGA 8800GTS is $399 after a $30 MIR on newegg

You have to have hacked drivers to do SLI on that

Ebay, seeing as you don't have the 35 rep required to post a thread in the for sale section.

Based on the amount new 7600GTs are going for on ebay, I don't think selling them and buying an 8800 series is an option for me.

I have been looking around and reading reviews for the past 3 hours, and it seems like every SLI compatible motherboard is very buggy or has poor overclocking results.

Should I take my chances with the EVGA 680i? After reading the Newegg reviews, I am very hesistant.

Zytek, which abit motherboard are you talking about?
Would you recommend it over the EVGA board?

The Asus Striker extreme also looks like a good board. It's only the eVGA boards that have the issues I think. Looks like its been all fixed up though.

$400 is way out of the price range. I guess I'll be using the EVGA 680i:

Thanks for all the help. This board seems like it will do just fine.

As of now, it looks like i'll be using an E6400 with the G.SKILL memory.
