I don't think so. I know on HWbot most of the current submission for the 4770K are at extreme clocks (i.e. 5+ GHz) so you can't use it to accurately compare to what the average chip will be clocked at. I'm not sure how passmark lists the data though...

Dont buy a Corsair CX they are just barely above being a fire hazard

They are cheap for a reason they have ONE japanese capacitor and its only rated for 85c not 105c like all other good japanese capacitors are

The rest of the capacitors in the CX series are cheaper Teapo Samxon and worst of all CapXon

The Cosair CX stands as a last option last resort before you hit the trash units

Corsair CX are also overrated and sold overpriced

XFX Core Edition are much better for not much more money

The Rosewill Hive would seems like the best option with the XFX a very close second the ZT is is a little better but 650 watts is a bit overkill

For the same 89,99$ this is better
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182262

Its 25% off normal price so you save 30$

Or this one also at 25% off so you save 26$ on that one

If you are looking to upgrade to Haswell id recommend this one from newegg ( im from uk but this should be US site )....

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371055

The above PSU is highly efficient ( 93% ) , and is also Haswell compatible. Imo never ever skimp on a PSU, buy cheap buy twice !!

On a side note, i upgraded from FX8350 & GTX680 to i7 4770k & HD7970 and the difference is quite eye opening, performance in some programs is 50-60% better and games are super smooth. Despite it's small flaws Haswell is a good upgrade, but it depends on what your aiming to get from your system. Good luck though whatever you choose thumb.gif

PSU efficiency has zero to do with quality

The G series and the Capstone is much better

All I am looking for is quite a bit of performance increase over my old CPU. Its been about 3 years now and this system has done its job very well.
