XXXXX gets better access to optimizing drivers, hooray for the all benevolent beings. This is why we paid for XXXXX gear, the optimizations.
XXXXXXX gets better access to optimizing drivers... Burn the witch!!!! Those jerks are not playing fair, why should they have an advantage over someone else. They are doing this for the GLORY OF SATAN!!!
Why are people so protective of one company over the other on here? Are they paying you? Why do people feel such a need to attack someone's choice, whether it be Nvidia, Intel, or AMD? I have had a 2500k, 2600k, 960, Q9550, e5200, e2140, 3570k, 1055t, 720BE, 955BE, FX6300, Opt185, 3800+, P3, probably like 10 more, and finally on the 8320. I have loved them all to a point. I went AMD and settled here, because I like overclocking. WIth the 2500k, 2600k, and 3570k I was extremely disappointed. It was not fun to me to just raid a multiplier and up the cpu volts a bit. I had a ton of fun getting the 8320 to 4.8ghz and am continuing to pursue the 5.0ghz clock. (No chance I am going into GPUs way to many to list including 3dfx gear)
Basically, what I am saying is stop vilifying people for their choices and be objective on all your opinions. Don't vilify one company for doing something then praise another for doing the same thing, or vice versa. The forum used to be purely a pursuit of performance, whether it was overclocking a computer or a toaster. OCN was a community of helping people no matter their hardware, views, etc... Now a lot of you just snip and bicker about stupid items that make little to no difference. The moderators should not have to come into threads like this and separate the arguing children every...single...day.
Lets stop bickering and snipping and just get along, help each other out, and have honest conversations about the topics at hand. Who cares if you have a haswell, vishera, bulldozer, ivy, sandy, gulftown, etc. or a kepler, tahiti, fermi, cayman, etc. gpu. Enjoy what you have, overclock it to max out the performance, and be done with it. Quit bringing your vile to the forums.
